Today marks an important milestone in the history of the
YTSS Infocomm Club.
We have successfully hosted the first student led robotic workshop for
our neighbouring schools.
The objectives of the workshop are; firstly, to introduce
the CoSpace platform (a virtual robotic simulation that has low entry cost) to
more schools so that more students will be exposed to the interesting world of
robotic. Secondly, the workshop serves as a platform for our senior members to
practice their leadership and communication skills.
I am happy to report that the workshop is a success and that
our members have braved the challenge of teaching a class of 35 students from 3
different schools. It is not an easy task for them. Infocomm club members are
often generalised as introverts who have inadequate communication skills.
Today, we have proven this generalisation wrong. Our students have done us
proud by stepping out of their comfort zone and delivered a successful lesson.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Zhou
and Hanis for their help in setting up the lab; and especially to Ms Yeo and Mr
Soh, for without their support, this workshop would not materialise.

But that is what makes robotic fun right? What is the joy if the robot just follow commends?
How can we end without some funny shots ^_^"
